Spring comes much earlier here than in much of North America. This year, it wasn't really even winter until last week, when it snowed one day. All the snow that fell cleared up the same evening, and we can tentatively start speaking of spring.

Whether or not spring will actually come, tulips have appeared at the market. Only 2 euros a bunch. It's my favourite season, tulip season. Here they are on my windowsill, bringing colour to my living room.
